  • Strategy

This quick hitting play has multiple early options and then allows your team to move into the flex offense.

  • How It Works

  1. Point Guard # 1 brings the ball up court with #4 as the trailer. #1 reverses the ball to # 4 who then passes to #3 at the foul line extended. #2 back screens for #1 who flares  wide on the weak side to occupy their defenders.
  2. As the pass is made from #4 to # 3 , #5 flashes to the FT line and sets a back screen for #4 for a lob to the back side of the rim.
  3. If the lob is not there, # 5 steps out and #4 sets a back screen for #1  to initiate the flex action and #2 screens down for #4 to complete the back screen-down screen flex action.
  4. The flex pattern continues with the ball reversal to #4 and then the back screen #1 for #3 and the down screen #5 for #1 and the flex action may continue.
